What we collect

  • Information you give us: name, email, phone, ZIP code, and how you want to help, when you sign up to support the campaign.
  • Technical data: IP address (hashed and stored temporarily), browser type, pages visited. Collected automatically for security and basic analytics.

How we use it

  • To send you campaign updates and ways to get involved.
  • To organize volunteers, events, and outreach.
  • To comply with Virginia campaign finance reporting (donations only, via ActBlue).
  • To improve the website and detect abuse.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third party except as required by law or as described in this policy (e.g., ActBlue for donations, Google Analytics if you consent).

Data retention

We retain your signup information for up to 365 days from the date of collection. IP addresses are hashed (not stored in plain text) and purged automatically after this period. You may request deletion at any time (see below).
